Seminar arranged by IEEE MIST SB on VLSI Design Prospects
IEEE MIST Student Branch has successfully arranged a seminar on VLSI Design Prospects. Mohammad Ismail Hossain, Program Manager at Neural Semiconductor, was the speaker at this seminar. The Respected Speaker described to the audience the understanding of VLSI and the history behind the transistor's invention. Then he showed how the electronic components were advanced in the last 50 years and how billions of transistors can be fabricated in a small chip which makes the electronic devices so small and capable of doing so many tasks. Lastly, he discussed the opportunities and scopes of VLSI design from the perspective of Bangladesh, also about the Neural Semiconductor Company, and how the students of MIST can build their carrier in this particular field.
A souvenir was handed over to our speaker by IEEE MIST Student Branch Counselor Group Captain Md Abdul Halim Sir.
