Engineering Project Work

  • MSc Dissertation: ‘To take the existing Edgley Optica design, analyse the design and then to determine how without compromising certification, the payload can be maximised’. Module was completed with AAA (Advanced Aircraft Analysis) software analysis of existing Optica, improved design options by calculating numerically and discussing possibility with consideration of certification and test again in AAA. Data and information are collected directly from owner of the Optica and pilots who have operated it.
  • Major Group Design Project in MSc: Design and build up an open-jet, low turbulent and quiet wind tunnel.
  • Individual Software based Project in MSc:   Design of Boeing 777-300ER in AAA software which was unique one for its longer range than the existing one.
  • Final Project and Thesis in BSc: Based on design and construction of a subsonic wind tunnel and study of aerodynamics over a fullbody aircraft (NACA-4412 airfoil used).
  • Group Project in BSc: To lift any weights with screw lever mechanism specially used for automobiles.

 

  • MBA (Aviation Management) Dissertation: ‘How Traditional Airlines Can Achieve Sustainable Competitive Advantage Over Low Cost Airlines?’
